I just bought a 2009 20x3. It’s a duel console boat. Can the passenger side console be removed? And if so, how easily? It looks like there are only three bolts holding it on.

My 2008 TR 196 had 3 bolts at the gunnel, 4 or 5 bolted to the rod box, and one at the top near the rod box lid. In addition, the console was glued to the side and rod box with a glue good enough the bolts might not have been necessary. There is an old thread about the removal. I emailed Triton and they sent me the shop instructions on mounting the console. Those two things made the removal possible but the glue kept it from being easy.

Yes it can, there are a few bolts that have to be removed. I did my '09 the first year I got it. Opens the boat Way up.

If an 09 passenger console will got an 06 model TR21 XHP, I would be interested in buying it from you
You guys that are removing them,are you re mounting them when needed or taken them out for good?
Took mine out for good. Saving it in case I sell to someone who wants a dual console. If I planned to reinstall and remove I would change the bolting and eliminate the glue.
