The Eagle EA 2000 compressor might be worth a look for you. Family Farm and Home has it on sale now for $99.

Yes it will be fine, but I just bought one of the Eagles as well. They are quiet.

This is good advice. Start with a cheaper brush, then look at Iwaata, Pasche, or Badger if you want to upgrade. It's not necessary to upgrade, but nice.

I have just started too and so far I like the brush Mike has in the link above. If you have a compressor already I would suggest getting a moisture filter and maybe another regulator to go after the filter. I picked up a filter and regulator at Menards for around 10$. After that you can get a createx paint set from Hobby lobby with the basic colors. Use the 40% code and it should be around 17$.

I painted with a master brush for several years. I use create paint most of the time. I have since upgraded to a badger solor 20/20 and its night and day.

Thanks. Its becoming very addicting. I hope to have some free time this evening to play around with some other baits.
