Well that was a show! Steering cable broke on my boat, luckily it was at idle when it happened.

Fished it yesterday with no practice and it was the Dead Sea for me, judging from the results it was for the rest of the field as well. I believe the Full Moon and Fall transition came into play.

I fished up river yesterday and we had a decent morning. Boated 15 (6 keepers) and were done by noon. Managed this nice striper on the 4th cast - topwater. That'll wake you up!

We caught some fish, lots of dinks and a couple keepers. We noticed there was some tournament going on that had seemed to be using the MLF style of fishing for the tournament.

You would be correct that's what I fished.

We fished midlake Saturday. Caught 50-60 between us, but less than 10 keepers. Fish were on the bank to 25’, bite improved starting mid morning. Cranks, worms and swimbaits all caught fish. Most docks produced fish.
Fished the dam area the previous Saturday. Pretty much the same deal. Typical fall fishing on Travis.

Zone 1 they put us on the lower end, I fished the Dam area and thought I would get bit, and with no practice which is how that MLF format is, you just have to go fishing.
