Has anyone ran one with the flair? I spoke to one prop shop about adding a touch of stern lift and they recommended increasing the trailing edge cup over adding a flair?

Very interested in how this prop runs..........

Hooken has. I will when i ever change it from the 28. The 30 already has the flair ring.

guys I had a 30p Promax with the welded flare ring on it just like that from Robbie at Sandersons Marine and it was awesome!!! If I still had my 250XS I would still own that prop!! OR if my 300XS had 1.75's at the time I would still own that prop

I am no so sure we want more stern lift from our props in our Allisons... Even with my greenness.. this seems illogical...

The flair can be cut down or removed if it causes a problem.

I feel the promax needs a touch of stern lift. Never seems to free the ass end of boat

I was under the impression that unless you had a modified lip... the boat has enough stern lift built in.. but again.. my inexperience speaking!
