    When did BassCat

Start building wider front deck/beam forward models? And which ines are they? I'm considering making a change and am looking at ChampioN but also considering BC because of their outstanding service. Thanks much

I think the first one was the 2015 Caracal followed by the 2018 Lynx and Classic.

Ok. Well. That won't work. That's going to be out of my budget

While not as wide as a Caracal it Lynx, take a look at the Pantera Classic. For the advertised width of that boat, it sure has a wide front deck.

The Jaguar started a long time ago and the Caracal came in 2015. Used Jaguar models are rare though some do pop up.

would a 2000 Jaguar be considered "wide body" or beam forward? Also, would it qualify for lifetime transferable hull warranty? It's all composite I believe. Yes?

How wide are the champs your looking at? I’ve had 2 and I think all the full size cats are as wide as either of my champs.

I was focusing primarily on the 206 model of ChampioN

The 2000 Jaguar is not considered a wide body in today's terminology. It was for that time frame.

Thanks so much. I had a 2000 Skeeter zx202c, and it's beam was 90". I found it to be plenty wide. I suspect a 2000 Jaguar with a 93" beam would be fine as well.
