I went to Tuscarora. Was hitting the woods in the afternoon so I kept it close. No bass just trout and a crappie. They tasted delicious from the smoker!

I hit Mt Pisgah (in Bradford county) and caught 20 or so bass on the jerkbait. Had to endure a good 3 hours of driving rain, but better than being at work.

I don't get to the pack often, but always seem to catch one or two on an orange belly crank (perch pattern).

Been a while Dave.... Hope all is well. YES, here is my go to crank bait on most of these northern waters. I do very well with it.
When the Crank bait bite is NOT on, I am using a jerk bait or a Sammy. Summer it is plastics. Just my creature of habits on the pack. OH YEA, plastic swim baits included :)

I'm going fishing on Friday somewhere. Debating between Blanchard and Raystown. Figured I'd open the outboard one last time before winterizing.

I caught four largemouth yesterday at Raystown. Water temp was still 49. Its only my 3rd time at Raystown, so I launched on the southern half at Tatman and just ran around for a while to explore. Found my first bass in the back of a shallow cove on a jerkbait. The rest came on the dropshot fishing a rock face in 20 fow. While fishing the dropshot, watched a 10 pt feed 30 yds up the hill side.

There was a surprising amount of boats out fishing for stripers. I didn't see any catches, but many trolling.

Saturday is looking like another opportunity to get on the water. I'm debating between another trip to Raystown or heading to Beltzville.
