Xpress H17 Ordered

Hello everyone,

i just signed up here at BBC after ordering a new H17 with the 1.8L 90 h.p. Yamaha. Unfortunately it will not be built until after the first of the year.

My question is what pitch prop should I request? I am getting a stainless prop and will not have a jack plate but will have a 24v trolling motor and 3 batteries. My guess would be 17" or 19" . I weigh 200 ish and my usual fishing friend weighs about 185.

i have noticed on the specs for this new generation 90 that the upper rpm limit is 6300 instead of the 6000 on the previous 90. Not sure if the lower unit gear ratio is different or not as I have not found the ratio in the specs for this engine.
