Harris chain of lakes
Going on vacation at harris chain the month of January. I was looking for a guide with knowledge of the lakes. Was wondering how the bass fishing would be that time of the year. Is there any sight to get current fishing reports. Thanks

No site for current chain info that I know of. But January is one of the best months to fish Harris. The spawn should be in full swing.

Biggest string of my life came on Harris chain in January so it can happen but it all depends on the weather. If mild winter and no fronts during your trip, it can be red hot. If cold winter and front comes through during your trip, it will be very tough. Unlike the northern specie, Florida bass get lock jaw under post front conditions.
