    Question Mercury 9.9 Reed Valves

    Hey all, Ive got a 9.9 that has bad reeds and Ive got a couple of questions. S/N 0G113719

    Has reed block part # 828435A1 been superseded to 828435A3?

    Which reed block gasket is correct 195181 or 195182?

    And can you tell me the year? I think its a 97.

    Manufactured 4/12/94.

    Reeds: 828435A1 is superceded to 828435A3.

    Gasket: 192061 for the carb. According to the EPC, the updated reed block does not require a gasket.
