Noise in gear at idle ProXs 115 4s ct

2017 has about 65 hours. When I put in gear (drive or reverse) sometime does not go all the way into gear. Makes the grinding sound like when you slowly put into gear. If I push throttle down more then it goes away ( goes all the way into gear).

Feel like this is a adjustment problem. Had prop change and seems worse now. Is it a simple adjustment, or do I tow to dealer?

Or have it checked by a certified Mercury tech... It's still under warranty... Dan

    +100.

Something goes wrong later... it's the difference between "You did it wrong" and "It was right because we checked the adjustment".

The end result could make the difference between a covered claim (and a denied claim).
