    Gas smell

Good morning gents, I recently traded in another well known brand that reeked of fumes when I took the cover off. Do the birds have the same problem, or do they use a metal tank.

occasionally my 2014 will have a faint gas smell in forward lockers if I leave them closed. It is fairly rare and I don't know what would make it do it once but then not again for 4 months.

Nothing from mine, sits under cover in garage for at least 5 months. The previous boat of mine also a "well known" brand did really bad, bet I could guess what brand yours was!

they went back to the all aluminum tank in 2015-2016 with a new ventlation system, they DO NOT have any gas smell in the compartments on the new birds.

Only time I get a gas smell is standing right beside the vent on the outside. The aluminum tanks are awesome and you won't have any smells in the boxes

Cool, the other brand was so bad in summer even some of my plastics smelt like gas. The dealer said it was normal, I was always Leary to start it cause I was afraid I would blow up. Glad that's in the past now

I’ve had 3 birds since 2010. Never once smelled gas fumes in any of them.
