    Waypoints

    OK, I know it's been asked thousands of times. I've googled it and it looked daunting. Matt Allen of Tactical Bassin said it took him 5 minutes. Here's the question, how do I bring my Lowrance waypoints into my Solix in 5 minutes?

    Export as GPX and load directly to the SOLIX.

    If both units are powered you can do it in about 1 min.

    Hey Wayne, are there other steps involved in getting the way points uploaded? It can't be as simple as inserting the SD can it?

    They need to be exported from Lowrance in GPX format as Wayne said. Here's a prior post;

    Go to the files menu and select import nav data, then select the gpx file you want to import. Mine never import automatically.

    A waypoint is a place on the Earth. The unit that displays it makes no difference.

    Just make sure the waypoint format is the same for both units so the numbers match up.
