I have an FL-22HD for 3 years now, wouldn't trade it for anything. Love the 6' and 12' bottom lock.

I have the FL-12 and an Ice-35. I like the vex more since it's easier to use and nearly bullet proof. Been running it for 5 years now and never had an issue, I love the low power mode in it that cuts through the grass and murky water

Went from a LX5 to a FLX28 due to old age. lines are easier to see on FLX and when fishing in less than 10fow FLX28 wins hands down!

FL18 til it gives me a reason to change. 15 years and still going! 2nd battery..... 3rd main power switch due to fishing in "Donner Party" type conditions.

I ordered the new Humminbird Helix 7 Ice. Looks like a good unit. It's on backorder and I'm hoping to have it before we get ice! I'll add this to my collection of the vex 22 and 28 that I currently have.

After using Vexilars for a long time I am making the switch to a Marcum LX 7. They are in general, a little more powerful and now with the Lithium Shuttle it they will be great for those long days. I also like the 1/2" target separation as well as the dual beam transducer. However, I cannot tell you how many crappies and walleye I have caught on an FL8.

Yes it will. You'll need the Marcum LX series bracket and the lithium shuttle adapter.

And then they stood on their heads and became 2 brunettes with bad breath.

I run a Marvex as well! Marcum has always had a better and more versatile shuttle than vexilar.

They all give you the same info. Just depends on what, if any, extra features you want.

For me, as I mostly fish for species that relate to the bottom, having a good zoom feature is the most important aspect. If you fish crappies or trout or something that tends to suspend more...pretty much any flasher will do.

Lift an inch and you can see it on any vexilar as little as half an inch when you know what your seeing
