    What’s the best stuff to get blood out of carpet

    Had a fish bleed all over the carpet before I knew it.it was before the sun came up.whats the best stuff to use to get it out of the carpet.thanks

    1 tbsp liquid hand washing detergent mixed with 2 cups cold water. You can also use liquid dishwashing liquid. Spray on the stain and blot off with a towel. Repeat again until stain gone.

    Hydrogen peroxide . Apply full strength then rinse and repwat a couple of times. I habe removed alot of blood like this from clothes.. hunting packs.. my work shoes, etc

    Be careful when you say full strength of a chemical. The stuff you buy at Wal Mart is NOT full strength. Full strength hydrogen peroxide would catch his carpet on fire. The stuff bought commonly is 3% or less.

    Just hydrogen peroxide, water and some sunshine would work fine. The carpeting is colored throughout fiber.

    Ok let me revise that... use the commonly available form of h202 ( 3%) .. where the hell would the avg joe get 100% h202 anyway???

    Folex is some good stuff
    I just discovered this stuff last week. Used it on some very stubborn carpet stains in my house that resisted many other cleaners. Unbelievable. and cheap. Found a 32 oz spray bottle of it at Home Depot. $7 bucks.

    Get a bar of Fels Naptha from ace hardware... About a dollar. Used it for years to clean blood and red dirt stains from ball pants... also cleans off poison ivy oils :)

    But as stated... hydrogen peroxide works great... had to clean a LOT of blood off my garage floor a couple of weeks ago from a freezer that died and lost a lot of meat... HP and fels naptha did the trick.
