    If the injector failed should it have thrown a code? It did not show a code which makes me think that the lean condition was caused by a lack of fuel rather than an injector failure. Is the 6th cylinder the last to receive fuel?

    It would most likely not be lack of fuel reaching said injector-it would most likely be caused by lack of fuel "exiting" said injector. If you are certain the injector itself is not blocked and fuel flow is tested and passes then a pressure and vacuum check on the boat's fuel system might be in order.

    Here is one that leaned out. Although it is on a carbed motor, the same results.
