    Anyone still fishing???

So usually by this point in the season I have checked out and am chasing those dang 4 legged creatures or some type of fowl but this year I am still hitting the water strong. Just wondering if you guys are still fishing. Want to hit newfound this weekend on sunday just waiting to see how hard the wind will blow. Anyone else going this weekend??

I'm still out there. I hit Newfound last weekend and got skunked, first time I've gone fishless in an outing in almost 2 years. Made me question life. The water was still 62 degrees by the afternoon this past Sunday. This prolonged summer weather has got these fish in a funk, I don't think some of these bigger lakes have truly hit that fall transition yet, or at least I don't think they had hit it as of last weekend. Pending we don't get snow, I plan on fishing as long as there isn't any ice blocking me from putting in. Last year I had to pack it up the last weekend of November before a snow storm hit, and the year before my last weekend out was the first weekend in December. I'm hoping to make it further into December this year before I have to pack the boat up.

I am still at it. Been on Squam on most Mondays all though the weather is not looking the best this week. Might have to trey and get out a different day.

I am going to try and stop over to Newfound but i just can make that turn on the way to Squam.

Well if the winter don't get too bad, Jane and I will be fishing in a few ponds on the Cape.. Just like the last two years ? In 2012 we fished all year and caught 2367 bass....
We will never see that again in our life time.....but we will TRY !!!!

I went out last week and got skunked. I hope to get out again if the ice holds off a little longer.

Well I hold the opposite stance. At this point bring on the cold and let's get some ice so I can pound the perch. I have 32 days before shoulder surgery and I feel the need to fish as much as possible before then.
I will say though it was a decent year overall. Caught plenty of fish. Not my best but not my worst. My boat sure does look sad under its winter cover though......

Got out on the Merrimack River last Sunday for the first time, went out at the Walpole stretch. Caught 5 smallies one a blade bait and Dropshot, buddy caught 3 doing the same thing. Hoping to get out one last time this weekend but doesn't look like the weather is going to cooperate.

I love it Everret, you can't remember where you put your keys, eyeglasses etc, but you guys never lost count of those bass!
The rain melted the ice around my local fishing hole so I'm going out today before it comes back.
I was dirt fishing the other day and found a nice large cent from the 1700's. A friend got us permission to hunt an old farm on Saturday so I'm hopeful for that too.

    Thanks Tim.
I managed to get out for a few hours and caught 3 pickerel and one 4 lb bass. I think that's it for the pond hopper.
