    different jackplate and an actuated holeshot plate would be the ticket for holeshot and slow speed planning. you can actually use the jackplate you have, just have to have 2 actuators

    And yes.. it appears the previous owner somehow damaged the back of the plate in the center a little.. no idea how or how he damaged the pad as he did.. especially on the back side above the lip..

    If you look close in my picture -- I purposely bent my plate so the nosecone would not hit..

    I checked my '14 and '17 XB-21's and they're both flat where the skid planner mounts.
    Looks like Darris let one of his projects escape.........................
