    Better than trebles for me... Less snags, less time loosing and tying on new baits.. You must be careful unhooking fish. You can easily spread the shanks apart and loose fish. I use VMC double limerick hooks 9908 in black nickel. #2 on the big blades and #4 on the smaller blades.

    Mustad also makes some on bronze and nickel.

    Mark and I caught about the same amount of fish... I used gold just to be different than Mark using nickel/chrome. Both work fine.

    I have made custom lure ear rings many times.... But I doubt these will ever make it to any ears... Not on purpose anyway...
