looking for trailer for 2000 Champ 203

Trailer is rusted out. Need to know if my 2000 hull is the same as the newer 203s. Can't part with boat, so looking for trailer. Have talked with Mc Clain trailers and went by and looked at what they had. They have a great product, just looking for other options at this time. Any help is greatly appreciated.

As far as the hull goes, a 203 is a 203, they just moved the gas tank mid-ship in the later ones. That aluminum EZ Loader at the above link looks pretty sweet. McLain Trailers in Houston makes some nice aluminum trailers as well. http://mcclaintrailers.com/

Coastline has some very happy champ owners.

For sure I’d never buy another rust-bucket painted trailer.

How does this setup run? What's been done to the VMAX?

Only thing done to the motor is fiber reed plates and the exhaust tuner. Have the Hydrotech heads but haven't seen a need for them. Had all this on my 225 motor till it broke. Bought the 250 shortblock from Hydrotech and found a 250 computer. Put a HPDI lower unit on it also. Run a 25 Fury for tournament load and will run 70-72 gps.

Pat, I remember you talked about a trailer company in Conroe that made aluminum trailers. What was their name?

Texall is in Conroe. Coastline is in Seadrift. Both are a higher quality trailer than McClain. Which is still way better than painted.
