    Winter & Summer Props

I have a 25 Trophy and a 25 Tempest...........I keep forgetting which one is summer and which one is winter. Seems I remember it having to do with water temps and changing density due to that temp change from summer to winter? Thanks...Oh it's a Ranger 518 DVS with a 200 Merc Optimax.

It's more about cooler air temperature and lower humidity.

You should run the 25 tempest all the time

Really? Water density doesn't change with water temperature?

water does change density without doubt, even though it barely changes volume, now its more about the denser air making more horse power

The density change is so small it won't effect your speed. Dense cold air makes more HP than warm humid air and older Rangers run faster with a three blade anytime of the year.
