About 1,100 lbs unless it's a comp hull.

    1991 was the first year for a 20CC, I'd say 975-1025 lbs

I stand corrected, the man has entered the conversation.

Paul was it in 96 that they gained a little weight with the stronger transom made to hold the 500 pounders on back? I think I'm about 1100ish.

Definitely got lucky there cuz I did hang a 1/4 ton on it with a 1/4" overkill plate. I've been studying the one you set up with the Yamaha 225 on it...2.25" above the pad. 102 mph @ 6450 on 89 octane...wow! Proof that they will rip with a fatty on the back...

Yes the 225 ox66 ran great. The only things that were done to the motor was solid motor mounts, tighter heads, new reeds, cut the grey rev limiter wire on the back of the powerhead and a after market low water pickup. I ran a 33 Mazco RE3 and a 32 Lightning ET on that boat.

Damn...those are some humongous wheels! Got to have serious torque to spin those suckers at that rpm...and the OX strokes out even longer than the Merc 3.2 'stroker'. Did you ever progress that set-up any further? I saw where you were looking to put a 1.62 Merc case on it and it also sounds like there was a bit more to be had in the motor too...

Don't mean to monopolize your time but I appreciate your answers since that rig is almost identical to mine...except for the triple digit speeds of course.

I apologize to OP for brief hijack...last question I promise!
