    That looks like from a computer software viewer (HumViewer), not a unit screen shot. A recording is unfiltered data and not unit settings.

    Yep HumViewer and probably hot on the machine, but as Wayne stated not unit settings and they make a great difference from unfiltered data.

    I have the 7 SI (Gen 1) and can say these are outstanding quality for this unit with stock transducer.

    Now if only the unit displayed as well as Humviewer...

    I seriously pay little attention to Side imaging while on the water (since the image quality on the unit kind of sucks and its hard to drive and really focus on detail) but cannot wait to get home and see my recordings on the computer.
