Who makes the best riding rough water aluminum boat? Thinking about 22’ with a 250, probably a CC

Don't know how they ride, but Tooga Martinez* makes a fine looking boat. Probably won't happen, but if I were to get a new boat, he'd be the guy to build mine...BF

I looked hard at Gator Trax. If I would have gone aluminum, this would probably be the one. Built very well. The home made boats can be nice but I feel better with a hull that has good flotation in it. A lot of the "home made" boats go to the bottom when filled with water. In big water you never know when you need that hull to hang on to.

Get insurance and let it sink. If my boat goes under, but not all the way because it has flotation, I don't want it anymore. Cut me a check and I'll have a new one on the way. Good point if needing a life raft to hold on to. Never thought of it like that.
