    Dang, I'm getting old!

I have a lot of trees in my front yard, mainly Oaks and Blackjacks. I wanted to take several out, so my son and I started at 9:30 this morning and finished at about 7:00 tonight. Took out 7 that were all between 25-30 feet. I have run the saw so long today that my arms keep cramping and I can't straighten them and my back is feeling it as well! I have a bad feeling about tomorrow morning!

I used to work on a tree truck before they had such large choppers and loaders with grapples.

It is about a miserable existence as there js.

Made me want to get a college education and take an inside job.

Pain is only temporary, look at the accomplishment at the end of the day.

I feel your pain, recently my neighbor and I replaced the good neighbor fence between our properties. My neighbor is a young guy, in his late thirties, that's young to me, I'm 64. I have always been able to put in a good days work but after three days of tearing out the old fence and putting up the new one I was a bundle of sore muscles and could hardly get out of bed. Thank goodness for gas augers and power nail guns or it probably would have been the end of me.

Now that is a whole lot of work in a short time I'd say the fact you two got all that done in that amount of time is an indication of your "Degree Of Bad Assery" and the after effects of the days work are not a sign of old age....

Shoot the toughest young athletes in the world are sore and tired after they take on an opponent or play a rigorous game...Man you took on 210 feet of standing trees and are still standing plus you took a shot in the face when one fought back.

Hope these facts make you feel better now take a few days off and revel in your success
