    Lake Lure

    Anybody have any info on lake lure? I'm going on a small vacation next weekend was wondering what the bite was like there. I attempted to inquire about it in the NC club but haven't had any luck. Any help would be much appreciated

    I know they charge the bejeezus out of launch fees to keep the "tourist" off of their lake.

    I live about 20 minutes from there and will not fish it. If you catch 5 fish a day, you have had a really good day. Also the permit and boat ramp fees, as stated above, are foolish.
