My boat is black and I wish it was white, but once I pull it our of the water I always slick mist the rails because of water spots.

    Car wash every couple months.

I wanted black but my wife liked the red so that's what we got. My glass Ranger is black and it's work to keep it clean but when she is, she's really pretty.

I like the looks of both colors. Both black and white will show scum lines. My Lund is black. Only time I'm not too fond of it is during the heat of the summer the gunwales get hot enough to fry fish on. Can't rest my arm on the gunwales when driving around. Don't know if white would be any different.

I have a black 2014 RT 188. It definitely gets extremely hot in the summer. It gets warm in any direct sunlight. It also shows every nick in the paint. I went back and forth between white or black and I wish I went white.

I can confirm white does not get hot like that... But keep some Mr. Clean magic erasers handy for when you get blood spots, jj's magic, etc. on the gunnels.

And I have a black truck, never again... Cannot keep that thing clean lol

I bought a new all blacked out Siveraldo and a new charcoal metallic RT 198 earlier this year. They both looked beautiful when clean and waxed but I traded in the truck at a loss two months after I bought it for a white one. Way to much trouble keeping it looking good. I would detail it and drive around the block and it would look dirty, everything that touched it left a mark.
