Seeing that you (OP) drive an Evinrude now, you might note with interest that the 520C now comes with the Ranger Cup package only, including a Pro XS engine. The 520L allows the choice of 5 different engines.

Early 2018, Rodney, before the dealer show changes went into effect? I’d make you an offer on that boat, but I don’t have much in my checking account right now.... Sounds like a cool deal, though!

So the C boats can't be ordered with any motor other than a Pro XS?

Pretty much the c boats are a package and come with the equipment that good but it's standard, I belive the tm batteries are 24 series, not even 29/31...

Just sayin, I don't see any mention of the 52Xc boats only coming with the cup package on Ranger's site.

It's not been fully updated yet, takes them some time probably in the next month or two.

The new 520C's come with 29 series batteries (Interstates). You can deduct the standard equipment (Poles, graphs, etc) and the dealer will get a credit if you want to reduce price.

One thing to note on the L boats is that all the console controls are on the right side of the steering wheel down by the seat.

If you're moving around on your boat, the C controls being on the left side of the console are really nice for easy access.
