Praying real noise still there after cleaning help

Had a question and figured I would post it here to see if someone may be able to give me some insight..
I have cleaned my reals have one that I use quite a bit that still makes a noise even after it is cleaned and oiled and greased.

The reel works flawlessly but while winding it sounds like the gears are not greased although I have just completed that.. I thought it may be the cage bearings in the side plate and have tried to oil or grease them at different time but nothing seems to get rid of the sound..

The best way to explain it, would be a grinding noise.. but "grinding" sounds too severe for what it is...... more like the brass gears don't have grease..

Any ideas on how to correct it would be great!
    Thanks

Yea it may be that small gear because it gets some hard use engaging the reel all the time. Try tearing it apart and only putting together the main assembly and see if that eliminates the noise. Make sure the spool is all the way on the arbor shaft.

All my reels are shimanos and I have had some do the same thing as yours. New gears will most certainly fix the problem.

My first thought was the anti reverse bearing. Did you take it out or clean it...or oil it? It doesn't take much oil at all. Also those pins can fall out pretty easy.
    Don't worry Ma'am....

check the gears as you should be able to see if there is wear on them or a tooth is cracked/chipped..Ive seen the gears where the teeth have become polished or worn over time as well..
