Hoping to get to fish lake Cumberland this Saturday. Has anyone fished it lately. If so how did you do. Looking to fish the Burnside area. I am taking a special Olympic athlete with me just hoping to get him a few fish.

I figured with the weather it's been tough. He don't get to fish much was hoping to get him on some fish.

Went twice last week, very tough. Get back in the creeks and find bait and youll find fish. You can throw a shakeyhead most anywhere it looks like there should be a spot and there will be. Theyre not big, but we caught fish in the very backs of the hollers off the main creeks just casting down the center. Wish i had more help and hope he gets his string stretched a time or two

I thought about switching to cedar creek but I know how crazy it gets with boats on Saturdays.
Dale wasn't bad last week over the grass on main lake flats
Went to Cumberland Saturday. Got on a good Rico bite early up from the waitsboro boat ramp. Ended up with several keepers and a big smallmouth.
