    Finesse jig

Picked up some Strike King 1/4oz finesse jigs and plan on using them fishing smallmouth and spots. Any suggestions on trailers to put on then. Almost no experience fishing jigs. thanks

    Missile Craw Father

Usually I put one of these on the back of my finesse jig. I've tried a lot of different trailers with a finesse jig and this one just works the best. It's a real nice and compact bait, so it meshes with a smaller jig. Everything is streamlined, which is what I like. It also has a pretty unique action too. Good scent as well.

I use the small paca chunks when the water is warmer (summer and fall) and a zoom critter craw when the water is colder (winter and spring)

Strike King makes a craw trailer for the bitsy bug. I believe that's what it is called Bitsy Bug Trailer, they are small and worked well this past early spring.

Yes, indeed. The claws are super thin so they really flutter well with a lighter jig. The small size is awesome on a 1/4 oz.
