Don't throw it much any more but the French Fry has always been my main CR bait.

"The man of system is apt to be very wise in his own conceit; and is often so enamored with the supposed beauty of his own ideal plan of government that he cannot suffer the smallest deviation from any part of it…He seems to imagine that he can arrange the different members of a great society with as much ease as the hand arranges the different pieces upon a chessboard.” Adam Smith, The Theory of Moral Sentiments

I have had a lot of luck in Georgia with a 4" green pumpkin lizard, about a 2 foot leader, 3/8 Tungsten, with 2 glass beads.
I've had good luck with a Lake Fork Crawtube (no longer made but Big Bite makes a good imitation) and also just an ordinary 7" or 10" Berkley Powerbait ribbon tail worm.
Don't worry Ma'am....
I'm only here for the Bass.

4" Zoom Curl Tail worm. Color dependent on water color. 2' leader, 1/4 oz mojo brass weight, 1/0 gammy round bend hook, brass ticker, glass bead. Year round. Got an 8.15 on this. Have had best luck with this small hook.....

Don’t throw a c-rig much but I’ve had my best luck with a 5” hags tornado in green pumpkin with the tail dipped in chartreuse
Zoom uv speed craw. Your welcome....
Anyone try a 3-4" keitech swing impact on C-Rig?!?
Lizard. June bug in summer.
I'd rather stay home and cut grass than fish the c rig .
Hi Mike.
Jackall Cover Craw 90% of the time. Even in the fall. The 4" version most of the time, but once summer gets rolling I get more bites on the 3" version. 5/0 Owner Wide Gap Plus for the 4". same hook in 3/0 for the 3 inch. 3 colors .... regular pumpkin, green pumpkin, and black / blue flake.
The other 10% of the time, and when I am fishing for largemouth, I put a 6 or 8" Zoom Lizard. Black / Red Glitter, Green Pumpkin, or June Bug.
I use a 3/8 walking sinker (the kind you use with a Lindy rig) the majority of the time. Two beads, with a brass ticker between them. I also use two rubber bobber stops, or weight pegging stops (which ever name you prefer) I put one on before I slide on the weight, and one on just before I tie on the barrel swivel. I slide the one stop about 2' up the main line. It keeps the weight from sliding way up the line during a cast. The other one is just extra protection for my knot. I use either glass or the Vike beads.
Usually about a 2' leader for smallmouth ....... and about a 3' leader for largemouth. Don't know why, but I can't get bit with a shorter leader for largemouth.
I love fishing a Carolina rig.
