Could some one name the 201 hulls .There first one's in the 1988 they where the (turbo Vee ) then what was after that ? I know in 2009 they change to the new Evolution hull to the end . But what the ones in the between the 2 .

I have owned a 99 201PE for the last twelve years. Don't know the name of the hull but it has been a good one.

I owned a 92/3, 95 and 07. The 92/3 hull was a Pro XL and the first year of the scalped radious strakes. To my knowledge this hull design has never really changed much since Stinson & Bentz left OMC or OMC selling Stratos. The hull length has been stretched over the years making room for the 200 XL, which was similar to the original 93 plus 201. The EVO is mostly top deck change but still rides on the same hull design. The 201 has been hailed as one of the best and smoothest riding hulls in the industry, why mess with it. The problem is the company has failed to be innovative enough to maintain market share and has been sold off to many times. It’s now the red headed step child in a stable full of top brands. Johnny Morris, the latest owner, has stolen the hull concept for his proprietary Nitro.
