Best Prop For New 521 L

Got new rig ordered. Dealer says they typically come with 24" Fury 3 blade. No power poles or Talons on mine. Usually only about 10 gallons of fuel on board. Very light load. Thinking a 25" fury 4 blade might be better. Any suggestions.

If you travel that light, I would think you are right. I run a 24 Fury 4 on my Z521 merc, but I have 36 volt t motor, poles, 22 rods and 50lbs of tackle. In the cooler months, I can run over 6K rpms

They are all different for the most part, for instant one of our guys has to run a 25 on his 521 but most run a 24. With your weight that ur talking about if u have a good strong engine u might could run a 26 but more than likely 25 may be the ticket. I have had 3 or 4 that I could turn a 26.

Failed to mention 250 Pro XS. New Ranger dealer 1.5 hrs away. Like to get it right first time. Really thinking on 25" 4 blade Fury would be best. Running 20' rig now with 26" 3 blade fury in cool water, 27" Bravo in hot water.
