    Motor guide slack.

Just replaced the pulleys on a mg tour. How much tension should be on the cables.

the foot pedal should be "tight" enough to keep the slack out of the footpedal when you change directions. Any more than that and you risk damaging the bearings.

The cable is snug but when you change directions it does show slack. But just as soon as you change directions then it’s right.

When you change directions, should be no slack. If there is, the cables could roll off the pulleys.
