    Want Metal 198 Switch Panels

My original plastic switch panels cracked badly. I found a new set and just got a crack in the large one so I am done with plastic. In the past, I saw some metal ones being offered here on BBC. Anybody here making them???

Not sure. I would love a set also for my 206.
Just wait until 3d printing out of metal is perfected. It's being done now, but not the best finish....won't be long.

Check with beach cues. He's a member here and post on the Champ forum. He might be able to help.

    Try this gentleman, heliblade@hotmail.com

There was also a member named Woo, he did my face plates in stainless steel and then I had them hydro dipped. I think woo has been banned. Maybe some one knows how to get in touch with him.

    One more, largmouthlou@aol.com

Another, have not dealt with him, just a phone number, David Hahn 314-808-3106

Easiest way would be to remove the plastic one and take it to a local machine shop. You could pick out what material and finish you want and pick it up the next day would be my bet if not later the same day.

Personally I think metal is overkill. Just have to get the right plastic. I made mine out of 1/4 polycarbonate (choose your flavor, lexan, makrolon, others). Much easier to work with, takes hydrographics just fine, pretty tough. Each to his own.....

Or, one might give a call to New Wire Marine. 843-297-8348 They can make any custom switch panel, with new switches.
