    Question Samsung Galaxy S8 / S8+

    Anyone else having issues with text messages coming in, then they just delete when you tap on them? Or there will be one text in a conversation that will show for a few seconds then disappear on its own...

    A little ....... especially for a freakin' $800+ phone...

    My wife and I both have S8's and not having any issues with them.

    You using the native text message app or another app?

    Neighbor has one it will not do texts from some phones...... he can't get a text from
    my phone but his wife who has identical phone can......it has been in for service and they
    can't fix......he is trying to get new. Really weird!

    So far it's only been deleting the texts from my wife, no one else.... We both have S8+.

    MY wife has the Note 8. and was having problems with text messages. It came set to not show my messages. The phone was using "message" app, while my phone uses "message+" Just changed the message app setting and all was fine.

    I have been having text message problems with my S5 for the last month. Not receiving and not sending messages so I did a manual update and now waiting to see what will happen. I read last week that the S8 is also having text problems. I better not buy a new phone if they are having the same problems as my old one.
