No furnace yet, but the fireplace has been lit a few times in the morning. And it's burning now.

Started up the wood stove Sunday. Was 44 degrees outside and 54 in the house. Wife was a little chilled so I started a small fire that warmed the house up quick

Had to build a fire in the fireplace a couple of nights but haven't turned the furnace on yet.

I'm with you on that. I have the windows open when temps are in the upper 30's and 40's. I usually wont turn on the furnace until November.

Next thing you northern guys will be posting about is ice fishing. Oh wait you now have your very own page for that. Which I will never have a reason to post on. I may have to turn my heater on around Christmas if I am lucky.

We set ours at 70 last week, The AC kicked on a few days. Leaving it at 70 we moved the selector to heat last night because two granddaughters ( 3 and 1 y/o ) spent the night. It was 46 outside this morning and the furnace hasn't kicked on since we have been awake.

Vacuumed floor ducts, replaced filter, lubed blower and tested furnace about two weeks ago.
Turned it on for a bit this AM (32 outside...54 indoors) because I left a window open last night.
Probably turn it on for a cycle or two tonight and tomorrow AM.

My house, my furnace, my propane, my comfort.

I turn my furnace on when it gets cold and damp in the house. I have had it on for 2 days now.

I turned mine on a few weeks ago. Set it at 67. It hardly ever kicks on usually in the afternoon the house gets up to 72 73 and cools off to about 68 69. It is nice though when we do get the cold nights to not wake up to 60 house.

Yes, for 2 weeks. It only runs sporadically. Supposed to be near 80° today, but the other day it was 22°..

Do yourselves and us Hvac guys a favor and make sure they work now!
I didn’t really test mine because it was New. This is the first I’ve used it. Took my 2k sqft house up 7 degrees in less than 40 minutes. I’m impressed. My old furnace would have still been running.
