    Ranger r93 livewell operation

So I am new to owning owning a boat with live well... hopefully my questions aren't stupid.

Wells seem to fill thru drain based on how far boat is in water. There is a lever that says circulate empty and manual, is there a valve that lever controls?

Just need some advice on operation.

Set it to Manual and turn on your pump to fill it up.

Yes. When the valve is set on "EMPTY" water will come in through the drain at the bottom of the livewell up to the level that the boat sits in the water. That water will drain out when you run on plane. To fill the livewells when you have fish in them, turn the valve under the throttle to "MANUAL" and turn on the livewell pump. When the livewell is full, any excess will drain out of the over-flow.

Perfect, thought maybe I was over thinking it.
