    poor top speed

I have a 05 206 elite with a 275 verado with a 25p tempest plus. I'm only getting 59mph at 6150rpm with the prop set 2.75" below the bottom of the boat. my question is what is the best prop, bravo 1,fury 4,or high 5

05 206 with 250hp and top out around 64. I propped for hole shot and midrange, if I propped for top end I might see 67.
I also run more gear than almost everyone I know and have typically have 1/2 tank with close to 600lbs of gorillas. I would think you should hit close to 70 stripped down.

    That's decent.
How much weight in gear do you think you have up front?

I'm not familiar with the V-rods. But, would think it should push it past 70... Is this boat new to you? Or, did this "problem" just start showing (what were previous numbers)? It sounds like it's plowing or has an issue...

Just guessing here, but a full-flare Bravo might be the wheel for you...

    Good luck!!

Tim, I think this is a question you're gonna have to answer yourself. There's not a lot of Verados hanging off the back of bass boats, much less on a Champion (at least around here, I never seen a bass boat with a V-rod in person). Maybe call Bass Cat, I seen pictures of their boat with one hanging on the transom. They maybe able to get you in the ballpark... Dan

I wonder how many of these slow champions are full of water like mine was? Tim, you ever had the shiny piece of stainless steel transom trim cap off?

this setup has always been slow. I bought it last year and promptly took it in for software updates since the motor was never updated, before that it was doing 55mph. bravo 1 fs seems to be the prop of choice
