    ZX200 shaft length

    Hey guys,

Looking to upgrade to the Ultrex but torn on the shaft length. We currently have a 45" shaft on our 2004 ZX200 and I would say most of the time it is fine but there are time in the big wind it cavitates and the longer shaft might be nice. My thoughts are the pros would be holding in the big waves but the cons might be a big bulky trolling motor that might hang over the boat too much.

Anyone have any experience with a similar situation?

    Thanks!

The way a Skeeter sets in the water, if someone fishes water with a lot of wave action I usually suggest a 52" shaft. I also suggest getting the shaft length to fish the water you normally fish.
