    Filing for Disability

Use the link to the CRF title 38 Sub part B to help you with your claim. This is what the VA uses to rate your disability

    https://www.ecfr.gov/cgi-bin/retriev...#se38.1.4_1111

Those of you that are thinking of filing or in the process, this is what you need to review prior to your C&P exam. Be sure to find your disability that you are applying for and see what rating best describes how you feel. When at your exam be sre to tell the rater your WORST day, not how you are feeling at the time and be sure to tell them in the way the CRF explains.

Example: If you have severe pain then thats what you say. If it effects your work and daily life you need to tell them that. They ca't read your mind and don't always ask a lot of questions.

This is your opportunity to get your beneifits so go prepared and if you have a VSO, give them as much documentation as possible to help wih your claim. If you are doing it yourself, you can upload all the douments through Ebenefits.
