Too much resistance in your wiring to the bow.

Voltage drop in the wiring to the front graph, needs bigger wires or fewer connections. My front graph reads about 1 volt lower than the console unit all the time, but that wiring is about 15 years old.

    No kidding...

I used my old trolling motor wiring because I was running very HEAVY stuff to my TM, and I actually get a higher voltage reading on the bow than I do at the dash and the dash is fed with #10 - the bow is like #4 or 6 STRAIGHT to the batteries.

The results speak for themselves, and these guys are not kidding a bit.

    First things first.
Before you rewire, look for a marginal connection from the bow unit back to the battery.
Connections are almost always the problem.
Larger wiring usually solves the problem because the marignal connection(s) are replaced, unless the existing wire itself is compromised, which is less common.

    yUP!

Because people seem to think "cut N crimp" up close is good 'nuff??

Everything I solder gets 2-4 pcs. heat shrink around it.

Dedicated wiring for graphs is best end result. Graphs will work better and won't shut off.
