And the size is just right

There is a dozen companies out there making the smaller ones

You don't see these in this size

The size is just right for where I fish and the eyes are just big enough. Are you going to have these for sale?

I have made thousands of the smaller 2.25 inch blade baits... I have always wanted some this size. I'm excited to fish these this fall when the water cools off... 50* down to 38* these are the best bait you can use.

For around here, the 3.5” would be perfect. Most of the ones I have are smaller and not quite big enough.

You will start seeing some bigger blade baits from other companies soon as "Do It Molds" has just come out with theirs... They work great, But I dont like the look of their head and it's attachment to the blade blank as much as my custom mold..

Your mold is a 100x better. More natural looking head and placement. I do like the bigger sizes

Mine wont catch any more fish, I'm sure of that. But I pretty much only fish with baits I make, And I want them to look the best possible... I like making custom baits almost as much as fishing.

Mike, I’m the same way. I make the majority of the baits I use and my own satisfaction with the looks of a bait is important. From natural or preferred looks, color, size and tuning are all important. There’s a certain pride and satisfaction in making your own.

Like the look of both of those - send me some to test on the west coast (got a week off in November so going camping/fishing) - (joking about sending me some, but should you happen to start selling them, please let me know.........as I'm thinking a cold, deep water would be ideal for those......which sounds like Perris in January/February.

Just curious, not picking at all, but is it possible for an angry smallie to pull one of those hooks straight and out through the body of the bait in the event only one of the two barbs penetrates ? Wouldn't a split ring around the shank be a cheap insurance policy against that ?

Other than that, great looking baits Blades are my new "favorite" bait this year, the weather is finally cooling off out here and I plan to pu some to use this weekend.

I don't sell mine... I would never pay $20-$25 for one that looked like these>>> http://www.bradwiegmann.com/lures/ho...-hog-lure.html

I have not had any trouble using these hooks.... Unless when you are un hooking the fish and spread the hook open. I tell everyone I fish with that uses these to be careful when un hooking their fish or they will loose some fish.
