Ok you have made your point . You and Aikman think it was a clean play

If I cared about NFL I'd say they have to stop these 325 lb guys from landing on top of Q B on purpose .

I am a Vikings fan but will give A A Ron his credit. He is good.

If he would have been in the pocket it would have been a penalty, being out of the pocket the rules are not quite the same. By rule it was a clean hit.

If you saw last weeks GB game Rodgers adds excitement to the game with his talent and determination you couldn’t ever count them out if he had the ball and time on the clock as do many others that play the game like Brady in last Super Bowl. Regardless of what the hit was or who the player is that’s football you play long enough your going to get hurt. NFL needs players like those who stands out as in any sport. GB games will be a little less interesting as I enjoy watching the best players that play any game for all sports.

Yeah once he leaves the pocket the rules state even though he is the qb he has the same rules as a running back.. He becomes a runner.. And loses the one step rule unless he becomes set in a throwing position.. Then the rules for roughing the passer will apply..

Joke of the day, "Aaron Rodgers walks into a Barr"
    BARRtender says "What'l ya' have?"
Rodgers says, "I'll just have a slice of cheese and a glass of whine."

To clarify, every rules specialist interviewed thus far has said there was nothing illegal about the hit.

    Every one of them.

Injuries happen, no team has been hit but the injury bug more the MN Vikings. I am sure Barr did not mean to hurt Rodgers. But it happened. Here in MN we won't here the end of the whining, ever.

Injuries are part of the game, did he need to hit him, probably not. but it's still part of the game, overall the team has way to many injuries but losing Rodger is like a death blow. overall the officiating was poor. and not only in this game, the officials In my opinion have gotten worse in the NFL/ It would of been a picture perfect year for me if Green Bay could of won the Superbowl in Min. sadly I doubt that will happen now.

That was not a dirty hit.

He will be missed for sure. Rogers is more valuable to his team than any other player in the league.

It coulda been avoided. Late hit or not. Defensive player coulda held back enough. It sucks. That backup QB is terrible. He'll have more time to prepare for the game next week. Go Pack Go.

All it takes is for Rog to think it was a late hit that took out one of the League's premiere players and that dude is on vacation for a while. Beware of the Rog.

Not a packers or Vikings fan. He was out of the pocket and it changes things. People wouldn't say a peep if it was Cam Newton or Big Ben. It wasn't a dirty hit. Not just a tough blow for GB but the NFL. Last two weeks Watt, Beckham, Kuechly, and now Rodgers. 4 big faces of the league possibly done for the year.
