Skeet Reese just posted on Twitter he was on the way to Mississippi for an MLF event. Anybody have any inside info on where they are headed? I think Bay Springs and Pickwick would make for the best show but it could be anywhere. I would imagine the Chamber of Commerce in whatever town they're headed to knows they're on the way, so somebody on here should know.

I really like the MLF format. Instead of 5 big fish, it's about how many keepers you can put in the boat. It requires a different approach. Pretty cool to have them anywhere in Mississippi.

Well... I guess I need to call my buddy, to make sure he knew where he was (and trust me, it's entirely possible that he didn't)... I talked to him before he went fishing (said he was headed to L. Eagle) and once while he was on the water... right before that cold front came through late on Sunday afternoon.

It may have just been closed Saturday. Some of my club guys went over there and said it was closed then.
I talked to him last night, Dave... He said there were a bunch of cotton modules along the turnrow leading to the ramp, but that there were no signs or anything stating it was closed. He and his son fished it... Said they didn't see another soul.

I wish they would put them on Columbus so I could watch at least one elite angler zero and I could feel a little better about my previous tournaments there.

Back in the day, I got to see that pretty often between the opens and Elite 50.. and that was back when information sharing was rampant but illegal... I personally watched a guy I knew give Brauer his GPS chip... (it was a new thing at that time lol)
i fished a tourney saterday at columbus and came in second with 2.46 pounds. i did find 2 dumb ones
A few years back I fished Columbus as good bit with a friend from that area. We always caught several good fish. haven't had a reason to go back since he moved off. what has actually happened to that lake?
