Yes they will match your gelcoat. Call and ask for Connie Hill give her your serial number and they will give you the correct match. The only thing is in 1990 the flake was .014" and the new flake is .008" it's a little smaller but not that noticeable. Mine is black mist and they did not have the larger flake in the black mist but some colors they still do.

On mine, the plywood cleared the tank. I used 3/4" and anchored it to the sides and front as there was about a 1 1/2" lip. Also, I extended the plywood under the back about a foot. The 3/4' is sturdy enough not to sag and hit the tank.

Looks good for a first time seamstress! I understand the learning curve frustration. After burning up several "hobby" sewing machines, I bought an old metal-geared sewing machine from a gal who refurbishes antique ones - just for sewing heavy projects (fish houses, upholstery, boat covers, etc.).

    Any updates or finished pics?
Did you seal the plywood with epoxy resin (especially the edges) prior to gluing foam & installing the vinyl? It will rot quickly if you don't.

I will have to pull a few pics but yes I did seal with resin and the only thing that I would have changed would be the thickness of the foam. I chose way too thick.
I went with a 5" High Density Foam and should have probably done a 2-3" Foam instead. Other than that it works flawlessly, and I feel nothing even when splittin yacht wakes.
