    Question What is this ?

Found this among some extra trolling motor and depth finder stuff.
Figure it's some type of suppressor -- Anyone know for sure and if it can be used to help with interference?

Looks like a brass bushing to me.

might appear as brass in photo but its more like ceramic .
I'm sure it's a ferrite choke of some kind just can't remember what it came with.
having some interference issues with my hummingbird's wondering if it might help and where it would go.

It's a ferrite choke for a trolling motor. There have been some pictures of it installed not long ago.

It is a RFI remedy that may or may not resolve your RFI issue.

Minn Kota ferrite bead. My terrova came with one. On the terrova it is to be connected where the coiled cable from the head unit connects to the pos and neg terminals. Had to remove the side plates and to disconnect the red and black leads and run those leads through the bead and reconnect the leads. Pretty simple with the terrova

Correct -- I figured that out later-- my newest terrova has one installed from the factory -- guess the one in the picture came with one of my old units.---
