    Plastic

I need to order a little to play with. I'll be shooting Senko's and 4" trick worms. Is any brand more forgiving for a newbie than others?

Check out M-F manufacturing plastic. BEST I ever used. No offensive smell like calhouns plastic and
hold up much better. You get get sinking, too for sticks. Give them a call and they will send you a sample.

I've used most of the main brands. Bait Junkys and M-F are my favorite. Bait junkys is cheaper, so that's usually what I tend to go with more often.

has anyone dipped tubes using the bait junkies plastic? I typically pour my soft plastics with the soft formula (swim baits and craws, jig trailers), but the soft plastic doesnt seem to work well for tubes. wondering what everyone preferred for dipping tubes.

Yes, I have. I have tube molds. I shoot them in medium but the dip them in BJ's hard plastic if I want tougher and fatter tubes.

This is what I do too. I have shot in straight hard or mixed medium & hard 50-50 & it worked out good.
