Where is everyone? Must be out fishing. 30 days without a post in here.

I've been working 7 days a week and the boat is still in the shop so I'm screwed.

I have been fishing every weekend, fishing has been good on the river until now, pool 18 is 10 ft and going higher. Normal is around 5 ft this time of year. All the pools look like they are about 4 ft. higher than normal. Duck season starts Oct. 21 so that cancels out the backwater fishing. I cancelled my vacation days. The rest of October looks shot.

pool 12 was fishing ridiculously well prior to last week. I haven't been out since Monday due to work. Raining cats and dogs today and 25-30mph winds tomorrow will keep me inside. Pool 12 looks like it's going to crest in the 10-11ft range in a day or two. 9-10ft is, in my opinion, the best stage for this pool. Summer pool has been crazy low all summer. Nice to see some more water. Fishing should be great the next 3 weeks as long as we don't get another monsoon. I will be in the backwaters hopefully avoiding the duckhunters.

Yeah fishing was good on pool, 14 and 16 until it started going up again!
