    ZX200 Engine Compartment Help Needed

Have a 2009 ZX200. Going to a 36V trolling motor and looking for ideas or suggestions for 4th battery.

Currently it's rather congested back there with 3 batteries, 1 MK 330D Charger, Oil Tank, and hardware for 2 power poles. Option to hang SHO on back and replace oil tank with battery didn't fly well after buying Ultrex so need some other ideas........lol

Post pics of your configuration if you have please.

    Thanks in advance!!!

The battery configuration is set up for the 4th battery to set next to or in front your house battery.

Man... What a tall order. Old style layout with fuel tank in the rear, plus a 2 stroke and oil tank plus the pumps... You got a lot going on! I gotta question why the need to go to 36v trolling motor? I've had them and never run it any speed higher than my 80 lb 24v does. But if you gotta have it, you'll have to fabricate some power pole brackets that either mount to the aluminum decking into the lip around the back, or into the aluminum transom braces. I've seen pics of a bracket that goes between the two transom brackets and the pumps were mounted to that.

KD, I got a heck of a deal on a 112 lb Untrex is the reason. I currently have a 80 lb Fortrex and don't have any problem with regards to performance.

I think you are spot on with only option being to fabricate some brackets for power pole pumps and placing additional battery where pumps currently are mounted. It's going to take me a couple weeks to get the time to do this right but will post some pics once complete.
